Beijing, May 12: Cameo China Company, Ltd.

This morning we visited Cameo China, an example of a fast-growing young company in the new China. Cameo was started just five years ago by our hosts, Huang Haitao, Chief Director, and Guo Baoming, Managing Director. Today it has about 800 employees, and makes a wide variety of fine china ware, including custom designs for hotels, etc. After a discussion with our hosts we were given a tour of the showrooms in their headquarters location. Besides the interesting china, we were impressed by the architectural elegance of their showroom suite. Afterwards, we had lunch at a nearby restaurant.
