Actually, this is not the Triangle X Ranch gate; it is the gate to another ranch nearby, but this one faces the Tetons, so it makes a good photo frame.
Triangle X Ranch
The Triangle X Ranch is a dude ranch within Grand Teton National Park. Its history dates from 1926, when John S. Turner purchased the property and operated it as a guest ranch. Despite interim changes in ownership and incorporation into the Grand Teton National Park in 1950, some members of the Turner family are still involved in its operation, now as an authorized concession within the park.
A dude ranch is more about horses than any other livestock, and the Triangle X has plenty of horses.
This is Ike. Ike says that life on the Triangle X Ranch can be very good for an experienced ranch cat like himself.
